Given the increased societal focus on the importance of economical and reliable energy storage, reviving this company’s mission is becoming critical.
Sunshine Ventures
SEED VENTURE CAPITAL FUND
In 2001 the Wyoming Business Council requested that Blue Sky Group establish a venture fund focused on providing Wyoming entrepreneurs with seed capital, mentoring and follow on fundraising connections. Encouraged by a $5 million verbal commitment from the Wyoming Treasurer, Sunshine Ventures commenced meeting with investors in early September 2001. The effort was derailed by the World Trade Center attack and never restarted.
Venture West
CONNECTING THE WYOMING ENTREPRENEURIAL COMMUNITY
Our first philanthropic venture, from 2000 to 2008 the nonprofit company Venture West organized regular venture meetings around Wyoming for entrepreneurs and the investors and service providers that support them. More than 1300 people attended them. In 2010, the Wyoming Technology Business Center adopted the company’s mission, morphing it into e2e.
